What will a day in your life in this role look like? We are glad you asked!
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead to join our team. DevOps Lead is responsible for the DevOps developer group, working alongside managers of various departments to provide solutions to boost teams’ productivity, and reporting directly to the Executive producer. Accompanying our projects from development to release, adding to and adjusting our build and deployment systems to the requirements of each project phase. The role brings you into contact with various departments and specializations, including our IT department for provisioning and setting up the required systems. 
For this opportunity, we are seeking a person, with both a strong technical background and a leader personality having experience in organizing and mentoring others. 
Your duties include:
  • designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD solutions aimed at crafting an efficient and stable environment for developers.
  • cooperating closely to provide solutions for the various departments. Some examples are:
    1. code review tools for programmers.
    2. automated testing and crash reporting for testers.
    3. data import tools intended to game balancing for game designers.
    4. content pipeline tools for artists and level designers.
    5. builds upload & deployment for production.
  • mentoring and motivating DevOps team members.
  • constantly identifying areas for improvement and driving all changes that are required.
We would love it if you have these skills:
  • Several years of experience in a similar role in the games industry.
  • Experience with development needs for PC & console games.
  • Operating System administration experience.
  • Network / Service programming expertise.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Processes automations and Asset pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of programming & scripting languages.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
 
We will love it if you have experience with the following: 
  • Jenkins. 
  • Microsoft Flows/Power Automate. 
  • Experience in Unreal Engine 5 Build & Automation tools. 
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS). 
  • Jira & Confluence (especially API and integrations). 
  • Perforce. 
  • High affinity to video games and emerging technologies.
